Expertise And Qualifications

• More than 10.000 nautical miles as a skipper in waters all around Europe and down to the canary islands (details (in German language): www.wearesailing.net)
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore. Competent to skipper a cruising yacht on any passage during which the yacht is no more than 150 miles from harbour.
• Sport-Küsten-Schifferschein (SKS). A German certificate which certifies the competence to skipper a cruising yacht in coastal waters.
• Sportbootführerschein (SBF) See und SBF Binnen. Mandatory German certificates wich allow to skipper a yacht under engine in German waters inshore and offshore.
• Short Range Certificate (SRC). Offshore VHF Certificate.
• UBI. Inshore VHF Certificate
• 18 years of experience as an executive manager.

Sea Areas

The most nearby sea area for us is the IJsselmeer in the Netherlands. The IJsselmeer is especially suited for sailing novices. No tides. Small waves. Short distances. And lots of pretty old towns with romantic harbours and historic buildings. And for those who love it a little bit bigger the city of Amsterdam is the place to sail to. Amsterdam’s international airport provides easy access to the ISsselmeer from every part of the world.

Anyhow we are able to provide our services at any other sea area you might prefer, e.g. the Baltic Sea, the Solent, the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands or even the Caribbean.
